Fatima Suleiman/intergrated water, sanitation and hygiene project

A project by ICIN LEARNING CENTRE

The initiative will use youth to campaign on waste management, environmental sanitation through mentors in entertainment world via social media and other media
The water, sanitation and hygiene project will create an avenue to provide access to portable drinking water to 4,0000 resident local communities with no water and sanitation practices that are internally displaced. The project targets youth between 18-30 years old. This is a new project but a sequence to our campaign against "Malaria"with cooperate organizations provided 12,000 free malaria treated nets to 14,000 displaced women and children in Northern Nigeria since 2009. We have done so much enlightenment outreaches on water and sanitation practices in local communities. It is innovative as it will inaugurate entertainment stars to promote our goal as well as provide employment opportunities through environmental waste management by 45% to the youths in about 5 communities contributing to irrigation practices to improve on agriculture productivity to reduce hunger and poverty subsequently.
