Launched in December 2017 in Nigeria to mark International Anti-Corruption Day, Corruption Busters works with children and youth to promote a culture of integrity and tackle corruption, while building the communities we want through sustainable creative development. This initiative’s mission is to advocate for sustainable corruption prevention, thereby accelerating SDG progress.
Key to this initiative is their animated movie series, targetting the general public, which draws attention to corrupt practices and their impacts on individuals and society, while providing audiences with creative ways to tackle such practices. Their video “Corruption the Musical” was sung by a young upcoming Nigerian artist, Adegboyega, and the Corruption Buster’s campaign successfully reached over 1 million people.
